MOC DAY 6 Amy Wolff - currently Sara Gleason - Per DiemWhen Mommyish - For the love I first read this and I thought "oh man - difficult - 5 things!". But as I started, it all came together, and I love my page! Thanks for the challenge! Some of my favourite pages comes from Lily Pad challenges! 5 points of inspiration 1. camera - camera elements used around title 2. colour palette circles - I used circles as a border on bottom 3. quote on a tag - created a tag with; a quote on it 4. flowers -; I added to my tag 5. doodled "ART" font; - used a doodly font for my title
Challenge #6- Inspiration Board I was inspired by the three quotes and I want to remember them this year! The stair photo had pint on the walls and that inspired me to use splatters. There was also an image of a camera, so I used some camera elements. all elements are Dawn Inskip!
Inspired by the flowers in the 1st photo, the Double Exposure and the B/W of the urban scene with the girl photo, the Turquoise and Peachy colors, and finally the typewriter font in one of the quotes and also in the large typewriter photo.
I have never used an inspiration board before so this took some time. In was inspired by: the color orange, the quote, the grid, dimensional flowers, altered photo and the typewriter keys.
I was able to combine the challenge with finishing a page for my 2016 PL book. WOO! I struggled so much with this layout. And deciding on what to do. Inspiration: 1. shoe image 2. circle element repeated (used the beads to represent this) 3. color scheme 4. layered tags 5. bricks (represented with the layered pictures)
I was inspired by 1) Colours, 2)the way the page is laid out, 3) little circles at the bottom 4) the different "treatments and styles" that the portraits were made in, 5) swirly font title plus assorted things like low polygon portrait, and blended in sketch/drawing, flower use and little things like that.
Had a bit of a mental block on this one, looking through how others interpreted it was a huge help! In the end I took lots of things away from the mood board: Camera Cityscape and portrait photo combination Colour swatch (blue, orange, green and also use of a paint swatch itself) Artistic effect on sneakers pic (artistic filter to enlarged photo, blended over textured paper and painted border) Typewriter font (travelling typewriter for journaling and newsprint brush) Messy/sketchy 'art' font (title font and messy stitching/thread) Tag Tattoo (doodled/sketched circles, triangles and globe - instead of compass)
My five elements are (1) girl with lots of flowers, (2) tag with a quote, (3) camera, (4) geometric shapes on body, (5) typewriter keys
Inspiration: Camera, flowers, beautiful sketched face, black&White photos & elements, and the block shapes of the board itself
