@IntenseMagic or anyone else. I feel like a dummy here but how do I get the marching ants on each grid line? I use PS CC, have my marquee line tool selected and add to the selection highlighted. However, when I hold the shift key the line just moves, I can’t get more than one selection.
That kept happening to me, but what I figured out was that if I zoomed in, the selections were there...I just couldn't see them when I was looking at the whole canvas. It looked like it was only making one selection at a time.
I had to figure this out as well. When you choose the single row or single column marquee tool you need to make sure that you click on the "add to selection box" on the top bar - the second one over Here is a link to a video that I found very helpful: Hope this helps, Cathy
Not having any of the programs or apps mentioned here I really had to figure a way around this one. Great use of my OLW for this year being LEARN... I totally had to learn a new technique and how to make it work. Cheat big time I guess but hey I think I made it work. Added coloured overlays in a grid pattern to my photo, then drew in grid lines. Not too bad for a first time try. (Also discovered that my desktop program I use, photoscape, has a colourize option but only in the pro version... bummer! would have made life so much easier!). I left one square b/w and then added colour to the rest which are in blue, red, green and yellow
Day 5 Grid Photo Thank you for this fun and fabulous tutorial! I used the colors Green, aqua and blue in my photo Credits; Lynn Grieveson - paper and outlines from Follow the line album Just Jaimee - GoSeeDo elements Mommyish - Thicker style (BYOC march 2017) on title and subtitle Font; Georgia
I was intimidated when I first saw the instructions, but they were much easier to follow than I expected. Thanks for the clear, helpful tutorial! My colors are pink, purple, teal, and aqua.
Day 5: Grid Photo Use instructions to create the grid, colorize the photo, etc. I did 4 subtle colors in the photo. I used TLP All About Me, You and US Kits (papers and flowers) This is a photo of my daughter putting on her lipstick before getting on her dress. I love how the photographer captured the mirror image...
I realize now that I should have left the rainbow portion of the photo untouched but I wasn't going to go back and change it. Thanks for this challenge as it was a little more challenging.
Time for a 6x8 spread! Thanks for this challenge, I really enjoyed learning something new. I used two shades of blue and two shades of pink/ red.
Another awesome challenge. The photo I used was already post-processed with the Snapseed app. giving it a rather monochromatic blue and white look. The color blocks I created were pink, orange, peach and light blue.
