Sorry I did my best and I don't like my page very much. If I had more time for this challenge it would have turned out much better.
This was fun! I didn't use the protector for the whole page, though, so hope it's following the guidelines. If not, I can change it quickly tomorrow So, I actually have 3 "journaling cards"... all at the bottom right, but only 1 has journaling on it. Dates are stamped on the pictures, and the pictures are framed Instagram-style.
Phew. Hardest challenge, for sure. I'm tentatively planning to move my pocket scrapping to digital (currently do physical) in 2016 so I had very little material to work with and this was my first time ever even trying it. Yikes. I ended up creating a layout from what I think was the best month of 2014. I save my Google Music playlists by month, so I went back to my April 2014 playlist and included lyrics in my layout of a particularly happy/hopeful song I was listening to in April. Thank you so much for making my January so very much fun!
You asked for one - I give you two pocket pages... LOL!!!My first pocket page layout and thoroughly enjoyed it. Thanks for the challenge. The rules only made it better
The journal cards are the one of the camp site and the mountain range. The pocket has the evergreen sprig in it. All other requirements are somewhere on the page.
I've never done a pocket page before so this fried the few brain cells I have left at the end of MOC but after trying one, I'm thinking I'd like to do some more. Thanks for the challenge, Laura! Edited: WHOOPS! Need to go back and redo. Was in such a rush to finish, I didn't read as carefully as I should. Back with a correcte LO in a bit. Final edit: Okay..I think I've done all the requirements - 2 journal cards (I made one of my own), 3 photos from diff times, 4 journaling sentences, Title Work (used WA card and added stamped title), frame (used the wood arrows circle as a frame since it fit my LO better than the other frames I had), date stamp (Thanks, Laura, for the link to Stamp Pete. I think I'll use that one a lot.). Check, check, check, check,....All done! And with that...I've finally finished MOC - my first time to finish!!! Woooohoooooooo!
It's unbelievable: I'm ready!!!!!! I have to say, it was one of the hardest challenges along the MOC!
I can't believe I actually finished this whole month! I started out just intending to use these challenges as a loose starting point to kick start my scrapping again after a hiatus. Then I got a little addicted... lol! Anyways, this was a perfect challenge for right now since I got so behind on Project Life by doing MOC!
This was harder than I thought it would be. Laura, thanks for the tip on how to make the photos sharper by placing it above the protector. I put the frame on the journal card I made.
