I was wrong about Valorie's pockets. I had only looked at the template, which for whatever reason doesn't have all the spaces you need for the protector. But anyway I used a single pocket on my page. Hope that's ok.
My goodness gracious. Thank you Laura. I'm not a fan of pocket scrapping either, but this isn't the first MOC that's been a real challenge for me.We worked through the others and we can do this as well. Laura what about a look a like protector of vellum with a stitched frame? Could that substitute for someone with pocketprotectoritis...
I do have a set from a retired designer I used to CT for. However, a quick google search for digital free page protector project life brought up several free download options. I don't want to link directly obviously.
you certainly saved the "best" for last...here's my attempt at a pocket page. Thanks to Valorie for the freebie page protector.
Zanthia: look at Laura's sample page, the bottom left picture, the the top right hand side, there is a date that says OCT 2014 A date "stamp" is a stamp as they are called on scrapbooking not a stamp as we stick in the post (which is what I thought when I started scrapping) a stamp is a brush/something not so corporeal? not sure how to explain in English, but you may know it as brush? can it be? Valorie Wibbens there are many in the kits from all designers, is like an ink element, some of them have dates already, some allow you to write your own date.... I ll try find and link you up ETA: apologies ...didn't realise there were two more pages with responses!!!!! my brain isn't quiet awake yet
I'm not a pocket scrapper, but I do like using pockets and pocket page projectors every now and then. Thanks for the challenge!
Well.. that was an effort. So hard to concentrate tonight but I managed to get it done whilst watching the game. BTW...AUSTRALILA WON!!! We are the champions of Asia!!! Here's my page lol.
Sounds like a fun challenge. I don't do pocket pages so at first it kind of freaked me a bit. But then I reread it and I know I can make it work. C'mon girls...we can do this!!!
Seems like everyone is struggling with this. I know I will! Thanks for all the links and help everybody!!!
This was hard as I don't do pocket page scrapping and when I placed the protector over the top there were quite a few embellies I had to move around to fit within the pockets. I'm also not that fond of the way the effect of the protector has of dulling down everything under it - I offset that a little bit by using a different blending mode. ETA was really pleased I had just got the Quinn bundle as those mash up ready made embellishment bundles were great to use on here.
