The theme for 2023's Month of Challenges came from a few months of deep thinking by me and brainstorming about what we all might need right now. Home is, undoubtedly, a sense of place and most of us, if we are lucky, have experienced that deep sense of belonging in certain place or the small rush of gratitude when you come home to a place that is filled with your favorite people, pets, belongings and memories. But, I think home is also a concept that is tied to our sense of self, of having a deep understanding of WHO we are and WHAT we need to be the most true and authentic version of ourselves. Personally, I am in a challenging season in my life, where there hasn't been much (if any!) me time or reflection on how to be that person, but I think it's incredibly important. I am determined to get back to it in 2023! So, for this final MOC challenge, scrap a page about coming home to yourself and what you need to be that best version. Your page must contain the following: * At least one photo. (It does not have to be a photo of you.) * A list of 5 things that make you happy * At least 3 sentences of journaling, which is not part of the happy list * One sentence that contains the phrase "I need" * Use the word "me" or "my" or "self" in your title I can't wait to see your pages. I hope this challenge inspires you to appreciate all that makes you who are you are andto take care of what you need in 2023. Here are some fabulous samples pages from the Pollys: from Karen from Lisa from Stefanie from Kiana from Courtney from Julie In addition to the specific instructions above, your page must be a new page in order to count for the Month of Challenges. Your page must be posted in three places: 1. Uploaded to the TLP Gallery (not an outside hosting site). 2. Posted in your page thread you created in the MOC Layouts Folder. You should have one post per completed challenge page. If you complete all 31 challenges, your thread should contain 31 posts. Please do not comment in the participants’ page threads so we can keep them clean. 3. Posted in this thread. People can comment here if they wish. Your page must contain Lilypad product (pages with photos and font only do not count). Product from other stores will not be allowed for MOC; your pages must contain 100% Lilypad product (current or retired product from designers or guest designerspresently selling at The Lilypad).
