I hope this on is ok. Seems the directions are confusing and pages look somewhat different than I thought.

I really loved this challenge Anne! Thanks for introducing me to AJ. I'm liking it way more than I thought I would.
Thanks for a great challenge - I really enjoyed this one! I'm looking forward to doing more with art journaling this year. MOC - Day 30 - Art Journalling Copy by jkcantwell posted Feb 2, 2017 at 9:23 AM
Day 30 - I was excited about this challenge and knew exactly what I wanted to do for it but I was very disappointed with the results but I was out of time and I didn't want to leave one undone so here it is for what it's worth. Font - Maphylla
Here is mine...I believe that I followed the guidelines! The arch is there, I just have leaves and flowers layered on top of the base of it Please let me know if I have to change anything!!

It's almost strange how perfect this challenge was for me. My favorite poem in the world is "Romanska bågar" (Romanesque Arches) by Swedish poet Tomas Tranströmer, and it has a deep and magical meaning for me. I know that you can hardly read the words here, and that is kind of the point ... Art journaling is for _me_, and since I know the poem by heart, I don't need to read the lines exactly. I just need to remind myself of this poem, think about it and its meaning more often. The many arches in the background of my image have a meaning that makes sense too, if you read the poem - there's an English translation here.
