January 28: Year In Review Challenge

Struggled with this one but at last it's done.

 

I did a double spread. Hope that's OK.

 

2014 theme of our vacations and visitors:

 

Mine took literally, my entire day. Thankfully I was off.

 

Here's mine.

 

I'm pretty sure this is nothing like what I had in mind when I started, but this it what I ended up with.

 

I have used a non TLP template. 14 by Chelle's Creations (it is just the number shape). It was just so perfect for this challenge especially as my son wore #14.
I hope I have still used enough TLP otherwise. Everything else is by Just Jaimee (December Story and To the moon and back).

 

I was looking through my folder trying to decide what to do, and was like 'wow I really take a lot of food pictures' so I just went with that.

 

This was a fun challenge! Wow, I have a lot of pictures!

 

It know it was no coincidence this challenge and "Walking Away" came on the same day -- as much as I didn't want to do it. 2014 was marked by this decision. And I was artistically blocked all day until I did this page.

 

Hope this is ok...I m not sure how you ladies do to fit all year in one page...I couldn't....so two pages it is- I hope Sara forgives me for murdering her template too-
I'm gonna take this as a start point for a boom for 2014, will scrap each of these events in a doyble pager and then more journaling will be there...loved doing this, even though it had to be this time(5 am here am heading to bed

This was by far the most "challenging" challenge for me!

 

The journaling is in Overlay blend mode to keep it private. It's actually happy, but after I was totally finished with the page, I decided it mignt not be a good idea for it to be public. I am hoping you can see where the text lies and that it's good enough. If not, let me know and I'll do a different page.

 

Decided to do a favorites of 2014 page
