my hubby grew up on Long Island - Lake Grove.

 

I used just an element of a home

 

I actually saved the website I found the map on for homeschool stuff later this year. So now I'm on schedule for MOC *and* ahead for homeschooling

I have the background Oregon map on my wall, this is not the photo of it, it's by Xplorer maps and sadly they've only done a few state maps, but they are so cool! I've always loved maps, compasses, clocks, dials... I have them all over my house. This is a photo of my purple house, yes, I live in a purple house! When I first got it painted, I couldn't believe how purple it looked, it was supposed to be lavender / gray... I lost sleep over it, but now I kinda like it. Was recently planning on making a big move across town to be closer to my daughter & grandson, but it fell thru so I will stay here another few years or so... I love my neighborhood with all the big trees everywhere.

 

An additional challenge during MOC, for those of us who have been doing it so long, is finding new ways to do challenges that we've done before. I'm happy with how I managed that with this one.

My dwellings are the house paper and house buttons. And I already had the necessary maps I needed from Scrapping With Liz.
