[/QUOTE] It's okay to me because I can definitely see what inspired you from the original paper layout! @vanessasmed I love them both too!
I was immediately inspired by the big letter. I have been wanting to use the Alphabet Letter templates I got and I new this was the perfect challenge. I scraplifted this one: https://www.pinterest.com/pin/AXvTe9DOMY_GhqDgO1Zk6CRP1owa-7djnOUdJF7mmFCd3hQeLMilIkA/ Here is my page:

Great collection of layouts on the board! I lifted this one with the cut out stars. https://www.pinterest.com/pin/151011393735722011/
Mine is a cover page for my printed album. I was inspired by the paper cutout letters in this one, although I did more of a letter press/emobssing kind of thing. I was also inspired by the white background and the pops bright yellow.
I feel in loooove with this one: Everything about it - the B&W strip, the stitched ampersand, the palette. Hope I did it justice. Mine:
I decided to lift this one because I loved the big open letters in the background with little elements sprinkled around: Here is mine:
I was inspired by the layers of triangles and splatters of color. I was a paper scrapper for 20 years before becoming addicted to digital, and I miss it sometimes. This is a great challenge, thanks for the inspiration too!
I was super excited when my friend Brian posted a picture of a Grey Jay (aka Whiskey Jack, aka Canada Jay, aka contender for Canada's national bird) on Facebook. With his permission, I cleaned up the shot a bit in FB and used it for this challenge. Grey jays don't usually show up in our area, so it was kind of a big deal. Here is the page I lifted. I tried really hard to get that velum effect with the stars, but it just wasn't working for me. The shadowing on those maple leaves shows up better in my PSD than it does in the jpg too.
copied Mine what I liked most was that I felt I could work with the assortment of photo spots, and the split BG paper.
I was inspired by this layout, and scraplifted it! It is so outside of my style in that except for the numbers there are no other elements on the page.
