January 28: Light Colors
It's the time of year when we think about fresh starts and excitement for the brand new year! Light colors are often associated with hope and renewal because they evoke feelings of clarity, openness, and fresh beginnings. Soft hues like pale yellow, sky blue, or gentle white reflect light, creating an atmosphere that feels uplifting and expansive. Even Pantone has selected a white as it's color of the year. The color -- Cloud Dancer -- is described as "a lofty white that serves as a symbol of calming influence in a society rediscovering the value of quiet reflection." In short, light tones can subtly signal optimism and the sense that something positive and unburdened is emerging.
For this challenge, please scrap a page using primarily light colors. The colors can be pastels or light tones (or Cloud Dancer
) but definitely lean into light colors as symbolic of fresh beginnings and an uplifting mood. Photos do not necessarily have to be light but, again, please try to keep you page light for this challenge.
