Thank you for hosting Kim. It couldn't have come on a better day. Today is the 33rd year anniversary of my Mom's passing... it was so nice to spend time this morning documenting the love story of her and my Dad.
Journaling: Here we are - married 19 years! Nolan took this photo! He loves when he gets to take pictures with the big camera! 19 years married, but together since high school. We met in 1994 and the rest is history. I couldn’t choose anyone else who I would want to spend all my time with! Brian is the best, kindest, most wonderfullest person! 19 years later, we have Nolan and our family is complete. I love these two guys and hope to grow old together. This is our story.
Here's my layout for today's challenge to tell a love story: 01_25 Tell A Love Story by AlyciaIN posted Jan 25, 2023 at 1:41 PM
We noticed last fall that Cricket seemed a little stiff when she would get up from her kitty beds and decided to get her a heated mat to see if it would help. She wasn't sure she liked it for about 30 seconds and then it's been love ever since. She will even come fetch us from a different room if it turns off. She has realized that the green light means it's on and warm. Todd got worried that she was spending too much time on the mat, but, unless it's really cold, she still will wander around the house and nap on the guest bed and sit in the windows (especially since Mom has left and it's back to normal again). She just prefers the mat in the living room. She'll also go into the office at night occasionally and nap in the tower next to Todd's desk. Has the mat changed her routine? Yes, but for the better and she definitely doesn't seem as stiff as before. We can hear her purring on it some mornings if it's really chilly and if that's not kitty love I don't know what is. Would she murder us if we took it away? Probably. Definitely kitty love.
I had already documented other love stories in the past and struggled to figure out something to scrap about. So I thought outside the box and came up with this...
