Hi everyone and welcome to day 25 of MOC, can you believe we’re nearing the end of this years MOC! Todays challenge is all about unleashing that creative stylist hidden within us all and creating a Flat Lay Photograph. By definition a flat lay photograph is a picture taken from a birds eye view of a collection of items laid out on a flat surface. Usually there is one item that is the main focus, known as the hero all the other items are there to compliment the hero piece. For some really clear and simple steps on what a flat lay photograph is, check out this link by FAT MUM SLIM (Chantelle) of PHOTO A DAY fame and her blog post WHAT THE HECK IS A FLATLAY? Alternatively you might find this quick video by PicMonkey helpful. For my flat lay photo I thought it would be fun to create a mood board of all the materials we’ll be using in our home renovation. Here is a beautiful dedication page by MiekSter The rules for this challenge: You must take a new photo for this challenge. Collect and arrange 5 or more objects that tell a story.
