Day 25 Double Page Layout Good evening, ladies!! You guys have been rocking the challenges all month long. There is SO much inspiration in the gallery!! Today's (or tomorrow's challenge--if you are up late and looking to get a head start) is to create a double page layout. Now, I know that for some of you the thought of this strikes fear in your hearts--I have been reading those threads where you speculate what challenges are ahead and I know that some of you are thinking , but others are . Here is what I want you to know: you can totally do this. Find an event that you have tons of photos for, or one that you have a great story for and a ton of photos and scrap those onto TWO pages. Personally, I think that it is easiest to start with a double page layout template or to simply take a template, duplicate it and flip it so that it is a mirror image and place my photos and elements. I usually still scrap 12x12, just have them next to one another in my project bin, so that I can see them side by side. I still upload to the gallery as page 1 and page 2 of a double page spread (uploading page 2 first so they will be in the correct order in the gallery). Here is my page: Challenge Instructions: Scrap a double page layout and upload to the gallery. Don't forget: Your page must be a new page in order to count for the Month of Challenges. Please post your page in your page thread you created in this folder. You should have one post per completed challenge page. If you complete all 31 challenges, your thread should contain 31 posts. Please do not comment in the participants’ page threads so we can keep them clean. You should also post your page here in this thread, and people can comment here if they wish. Pages should contain at least 75% current Lilypad product (currently for sale in the store from either permanent designers or guest designers). I can't wait to see all of your awesome pages. Double page layouts are some of my favorites and I know that I will be so inspired by what you create!
lol you knw what!!! Sunday is the day of my PL52 i made this in double layout! Perfect time for a double page challenge lol !
not my thing at all, but I enjoyed it. Tonys party was the only single "event" I had more than 3 photos of. ..... Note to self; take more photos.
that's my thought exactly, but I guess I'd better pick up where I dropped the ball last year, maybe April or March?! Well, it turned out I have caught up on the last year till Easter, yippee...
so now i know how i'm spending tomorrow - why do doubles seem to take *more* than twice as long as a single page??
I have a question....how does the template 'count' on a double page spread like this? I have some special double page templates but not by designers here....does it still only count as 15% of the challenge or does it count as more since it's two pages? Just want to make sure before I start my page.
I love love LOVE DPs. A look at my gallery would speak for itself LOL. I must go and think of one format I haven't attempted before. Yummm!!! Agree with Pallavi, I'd probably do AJ and then scrap-therapy with DP. LOL
