We are in the HOME stretch of MOC11 now! (see what I did there? ) How is everyone doing so far? Are you keeping up or are you like me, scrambling to finish the last few challenges on my list. Lol. When we started brainstorming ideas for challenges we talked a lot about what scrapbooking looked like for each of us and I mentioned that a lot of my favorite pages in my books are what I call my month "Misc" pages. I scrap single layouts for the big stuff like birthdays, holidays, events and vacations, but then at the end of the month I have a collection of random pictures that aren't related to each other, but that I want to capture. In about 2013 I started a double page spread at the end of every month that captures the random pieces of everyday life. I often note things like the price of gas, noteworthy news events, projects I've finished around the house, new meals I've tried, etc. For this challenge I want you to look around your house, your job or wherever you go today and capture something that seems totally normal today, but that might be pretty interesting to look back on in 5 or 10 years. For my layout I captured my quirk for always parking in the same spot at my grocery store. Lol: Your page for today's challenge must include: Capture at least one everyday moment. See below for more samples for ideas. You may use pictures but they aren't required. If you don't use a photo, you must use a some amount of journaling (the amount is up to you) to tell the story of your everyday moment. You may do a single or double layout SAMPLES FOR IDEAS: May 2022 Misc July 2022 Misc: In addition to the specific instructions above, your page must be a new page in order to count for the Month of Challenges. Your page must be posted in three places: 1. Uploaded to the TLP Gallery (not an outside hosting site). 2. Posted in your page thread you created in the MOC Layouts Folder. You should have one post per completed challenge page. If you complete all 31 challenges, your thread should contain 31 posts. Please do not comment in the participants’ page threads so we can keep them clean. 3. Posted in this thread. People can comment here if they wish. Your page must contain Lilypad product (pages with photos and font only do not count). Product from other stores will not be allowed for MOC; your pages must contain 100% Lilypad product (current or retired product from designers or guest designers presently selling at The Lilypad).
Here is mine, Karen!! Thanks for hosting.. I don't know where I will be 5 to 10 years from now, but I want to remember my happy scrapping spot!!

Totally normal -- oh, yes! That's me (no makeup or hair brush) first thing in the morning with my first cup of coffee -- not really awake either. But it is REAL!
