Oooh, this was so much amazing fun, thank you! I can't even remember what all I blended. Like every single paper, an embellishment or two, maybe the paint? ALL THE BLENDING.
Here is mine. Lots of things are blended -- the photo on the top, the paper on the bottom, the washi tape, and the stamp on the large photo.
Thanks for the challenge!! This is the funnest technique EVER!! The most fun, even!! LOL I blended my bg papers and the confetti. It's all explained in the gallery. Here's mine:
I blended 2 of the background papers and then blended 2 different papers with the large photo and finally blended in some word art from a journal card next to the small photo.
Here's my page: I used Lighter Colour for the photo layer, overlay for the title and soft light for the date.
Such amazing layouts!!! Here is mine. The background papers were done in two separate sets of layers. One layer (the darker, left half) used Color Burn and Hue. The other layer (the lighter, right half) used Screen and Lighten. 2. I used Darken and Multiply on the title. 3. I applied an acetate over the larger blue circle and set it to Difference. 4. I used Color Burn on the blue flower. Also, I duplicated the photo twice and applied this: 1st layer: Color Burn, 2nd layer: Lighter Color, 3rd layer: Overlay.
Thank you for this challenge. I use blending modes all the time in Art Journaling. This time I challenged myself to use blending in a LO with clean lines. The Good Life Starts Here
