This was a great challenge! I use Paint Shop Pro, so I dug out my tutorial book and read about blending - I would have never done it had it not been for this challenge - so THANK YOU!! I layered 1 photo on top of another and blended them together - then blended the word art from LBW My Kind of Day in to the photo. I blended two papers into one and then blended 2 overlays from Lean On Me into that background paper.
Here is mine.. Blended elements are: compass + paterned paper star stamp + paterned paper paint + patterned paper
Thanks! Great way to get two photos on the page with the tiny one as Focal point Blending on "word round", art squiggle and large photo. Details in Gallery Post.
here is mine: https://the-lilypad.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=176177&title=moc-day-2&cat=500 thanks for the challenge!
mine Used PS blend modes of color, color burn, divide and darker color on bg papers, paint splats and word art
Here's mine, using color burn, soft light, and darker color on the stamps, lighten on the tape, and multiply on the text. I love using blending modes! All items from Just Jaimee November Storyteller.
At first this was hard then I remembered this STUNNING awesome photo that my stepson had done - shortly after he and his long time girlfriend broke up a friend did a morale booster photo shoot of him. He lives in Chicago and plays in several bands as well as teaches piano and voice lessons. I love and adore this photo of him...and I knew I just had to scrap it! Credits: TLP - Allison Pennington - White Out (BYOC Jan) All items blended EXCEPT the flags at the top right.
I know it doesn't look like much blending but it's there ... I promise!! *Three of the word strips are blended into the background paper. *The star tag has a red paper blended to it to change the color *The photo is actually blended too. My son was too dark so I used a layer mask and blending to lighten him up *There is a brightening mask blended to the black background paper too which gives it a smidge more texture
Oh my gosh! Everyone is so ROCKING this challenge! Here's my page: I blended: - the background paper with 2 other papers - one tape - the flower rubon - both the paint elements
AWESOMESAUCE!!! I'm totally singing "Everything is Awesome" right now while browsing the pages, YUM!!!
mine. not my strong point so it really was a challenge. I have blended the same paper (by Alison Pennington ) 3 times and the leaves once.
5 blended papers & 9 blended elements- and all from BYOC but the alpha brushes...LOVE the BYOC palette this month!!!!
