You are correct; a font would not be considered an element. We chose to not allow 10 different alphas so that we could make this challenge more "element" focused; the thought with allowing alphas was that would trigger people to use the alphas to create a title, and that would be an entirely different challenge than we were going for.
Totally enjoyed myself! It was a toss-up between trees and Santas (still in the holiday spirit here)... Items related to trees: 13 trees 1 washi tape 1 tree stamp (trio of trees) 2 postage stamps 2 flairs
This turned out to be quite the challenge for me -- but mainly because I'm a knucklehead and made my page the first time with a kit that is no longer in the store. So, I had to go back and redo a lot of it to get my percentages up to 75%. In any event, here is my page. One of my hobbies in the summer of 2020 -- during the height of the Covid scare -- was photographing the birds in my back yard.
Wow! This took me all afternoon but mainly because I wanted it to be perfect and I cried a lot too. This one is dedicated to my Dad. He passed 27 years ago but he is still with me. 10 different FRAMES and ALL of the credits are listed in the description in the gallery because I wouldn't have it any other way!
I think it's obvious I have more than 10 - it's actually 35 plus butterfly wings behind the woman. LOL All listed in credits in the gallery.
I used 16 different "fasteners": 4 hole button Bulldog clip Screw Bandaid Binder clip Paper clip Snap Hook 2 hole button Brad prong Staples Shaped paper clip Clothes pin String Washi tape Pushpin Ribbon I know "staples" is on the "No" list, but I'm assuming the way I used them is OK.
