YES! That's totally fine ... and super cute. I love seeing how everyone finished off their pages - I wanted you guys to be able to play and finish it the way you liked (once you got the steps accomplished to qualify) ... this is awesome!
Thanks for the fun challenge, Jenn! I learned that cut-outs aren't so difficult! I had finished my page and went to save it, again, and I have no idea what I did, but I lost it. It was not in my recents. Anyway, I just gave up and started all over. I don't care for my choice of paper, but I have to call it finished!!! How embarrassing is this page?!!!! Maybe I'll come back and re-do if I ever get caught up. EEEEK! LOL!
It took me a while, but I finally got it figured out! Thank you Christa! Your notes got through to me! I never could get "load selection" to be a usable option. PSE11. I'm going to play with it more when I have time! https://the-lilypad.com/forum/galleries/moc8-19-cutoutbkgrnd-ga4519-web.419870/
Oh man! I REALLY wanted to do wonky squares and I tried and tried and used a zillion different papers and I didn't like any of them. Finally saw a burst paper in my hour of browsing my stash and the light bulb went on. Phew! Thanks for this awesome challenge Jenn!
Hope I did this right! It was a surprisingly FUN challenge! Thanks for the new technique and great instructions!
I used a shape from the graphics for a shape & once I figured out you have to hold control and click on the thumbnail picture of my shape it was easy peasy! Thanks for a fun new technique!
as I mentioned in the gallery.... I'm not at my best with patterns so this took a bit of a proper challenge to my battered brain...... but I think I got it..... not sure about the page, I made 5 different versions and couldn't like any but wasn't going to put you through a choice at this time, because I LOVE YOU!!!!!!!!!! here is what I ended up with I think I can grow to love this way of using patterns......!!!!
