Hard but not impossible. I used puppet warp to reposition the dancer in the background and I tried to make the butterflies look like they might be flying (with limited success)
Great challenge - I never knew about this! I used it on the leaves to bring them closer together and on the string so it wouldn't cover journaling.
AWESOME pages!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I don't use PS (I am on Craft Artist) so I used what I normally use: eraser & scissors tool- I used it with the branch with leaves and the frame- Hope I got it right- I can show the LO before I worked it if necessary as I never delete the layered doc, wasn't sure if I had to.
Oookay. I had a LOT of trouble with this. Whenever I moved my string, it kinked up one section of it. I'll have to play with this some more. Anyway I just took on too much, since I also challenged myself to use a Christmas kit for a non-Christmas picture. I ended up using puppet warp to spread this bows bottom ribbons out to create more of an inverted triangle equivalent to the negative space above it.
I use an OLD program (PhotoDraw) so my technique is a little different...but the yellow string is tucked between the frame and photo on the left
thank you Karen, it's really gorgeous challenge and perfect method to wrap something. I never used it before!!! and here is mine, I puppet wrapped the string:
I didn't have the puppet warp tool in PSE.....but I learned alot about adding a layer mask to erase parts of things....this was something I'd never done before! I used it on the paperclips and the ribbon to tuck them behind my photo
I ended up doing the page in PSE & then opening it up in CS just to do the puppet warp. CS is just too much program for me.
I have used the warp tool quite often for shadowing but have never used puppet warp. ~ I used it on the wordart
On an old PSE here, so I used the eraser to put the knot of the string on top of star and ends underneath. My idea was to make the star look tied on.
I only have a very old PS and I work in PI and I couldn't get this to work at all so I'd to erase and hide. I hope that will be enough.
that's a great tool which I didn't know. I still need to be carefull how I move things but it helps a lot.
I had forgotten all about it! Warped the string from left to right and not go across the photos too much
Thank you once again for that awsome technic that I haven't tested before Here's my layout, I used the technic on the green string
