Where have you been all my life puppet warp?!? I have not used string on my layout so many times because it covered too much of what I wanted shown. Thank you Karen!!! THis is pretty tame compared to some of you ladies and your amazing work...but I did warp the string bow to circle the word can and fall beside the journaling instead of right over it
I too LOVE the puppet warp tool and use it lots of times. Here's my page. I used it on the bow/ribbon here's the original on top of the warped bow [I also cut of a bit of the ribbon btw]

I never knew about this technique before, but I'm so happy that I do now! Original: With puppet warp:
Just couldn't get this together last night, but here it is. I didn't know how to use this tool before, knew of it, knew I had it, but never tried to figure it out. So, thanks for the new tool in my PS bag of tricks!
Karen, I love you! How did I not know about puppet warp?! Seriously, thanks for teaching me a new technique. I used it here to straighten out the twine a bit and move the bow portion from covering my daughters face.
Thanks Anne and Karen. I use Scrapbook Max. It was given to me as a gift from a friend who was trying to get me to go digi. She said she just knew I would love it. She was right. It works so much better with my busy family. Being a carer for my husband and a Mum to two elite athletes I don't get a lot of time to unpack my paper craft but I can manage to digi. I am playing with it. I will bring you a page soon.
Let's see... I used Puppet Warp on the pink ribbon, white ric-rac, purple flag and multiple shadows all the other warps were done with the smudge tool and liquify
I used the puppet warp on the string below the button Love learning this skill, I'll use it surely in the future
Ok. This is the best can manage. I manipulated the arrow to make it go under and over the LOVE banner. I had to use two of the same element. I cropped one and layered it on top of the other one to achieve the look but it's the only way in my program. I also made it more 'squashed up'. Very technical terminology lol.
