January 14th: Double Layout (Style Challenge)

Whee! It does pay to be patient! But seriously, thank you for double-checking for me!

 

After connecting my layouts, I see my mistakes. Im not good at double pagers at all.
1. One title (Presents)
2. Two or more sentences of journaling. ( about the presents)
3. Three or more photos from the same event. (six)
4. Four or more different paper patterns. (four used)
5. Five or more different elements - Please use at least 5 different kinds of elements ( definition tag, felt dot, wood dot, ric rac, stickers, rub ons)

 

1. One title: Missoula Winter
2. Two or more sentences of journaling: small poem
3. Three or more photos from the same event: winter in Missoula (7)
4. Four or more different paper patterns: Rebecca McMeen (Two Kitties paper 11; Grace papers 4 & 5; Holly and Ivy paper 2)
5. Five or more different elements:

1. Vellum Label
2. Banner
3. Paper Clip
4. Label
(1-4 came with template)
5. Wood snowflakes (2)
6. Stamped snowflake
7. Crow stamp
8. Tree stamp
9. Distressed snowflake layer​

My kind of challenge!
1. One title - yes, Weekend Getaway.
2. Two or more sentences of journaling - yes
3. Three or more photos from the same event - yes, 10 photos.
4. Four or more different paper patterns - yes - background have a very faint stripe, stripes behind the QR code, blue dots, green stripes, flowers, and yellow shapes.
5. Five or more different elements - yes - stamp, camera, WA on photo, green button, blue button, sunshine, sewn flower.

4. Four or more different paper patterns: paw print (recolored); polka dot (recolored); argyle (recolored); plaid
5. Five or more different elements: "Yorkie" flair; "Yorkie" stamp (combined two stamps to make a new one); "good" and "girl" beads; flowers; leaf

 

Are we supposed to be posting our layouts in the challenge itself as well as in our thread and the gallery? I have been putting mine in gallery and thread and assumed that was enough. If it is not, please let me know.

 

Here's mine. I'm trying to figure out how to get it the correct size and readable! Right now it's too fuzzy.

5. Five or more different elements - Staple, Button, Word strip, Date tag, Frame

4. Four or more different paper patterns. (Cardboard, Red Cross, woodgrain, medicine paper, white texture)
5. Five or more different elements (stethoscope, button, brads, staple ribbon, medicine bottle, pills, etc.)

 

Seriously, this took a lot more time than it looks like it should have.

elements - journal card (turned into a flair with mommyish style and some cropping), word strip, ribbon, ric rac, button, scatter

 

Elements - branch, large flower, gingerbread house, gingerbread man, gingerbread girl, small flower, candy cane, lollipop

 

Here is mine. Five items: stars, flairs, word art, numbers, crepe paper






And yes, I know the journalling has a ?? on it. I can't remember what we got our son, way back in April, for his birthday. Will update once I ask him.

YAY! I only do my albums in 2 pg spreads. These one page things with one picture have been so challenging for me. So excited to get in my comfort zone. Thats where I do my best work.

 

ok here is mine. It is so tiny.

elements used: Flower, brad, camera, washi tape, arrows, word strip

 

This was the hardest one for me so far, but I think it turned out okay.
