January 13: One Word (Journaling Challenge)

Thanks for this challenge. I groaned when I first read it thinking how was I ever going to finish this challenge but in the end I loved it and was able to use one of my all time favourite photos. Thanks!

Here is mine. My font is 8pt to fit on the journal card since I wanted to include a face photo of my daughter with her first hunt. If needs be, I'll post the journaling in the blended where my daughter is at 12pt to show it's more than 1/4 of the page. Either way, here's my layout:

There is exploration every day with my littles...

 

So I did a two-pager for this one because of my panoramic picture I wanted to use. I made a word art for the word explore. Great challenge!

 

Ugh!! I was behind and combined Day 13 & 14 into one layout. Oh well, at least I scrapped a layout that needed done and not just something to complete the challenge.

I would like to explore something different then what i am doing now. Possible give up the digital scrapebooking.. I had some much interest in it when I came back in December 2014. I have lost interest in farmville too.As I look into the eyes of doll, she looks confused as I am

Maybe explore the possibility to try learning to do something else. Ideas I do not have. What I wanted when I came back, isn’t something i still want, as being on a CT team, or even organised all the stash I have. Maybe explore under the HP desk, all the thumb drives down there and figure something I used to do, I might enjoy pickng back up on. Very sorry I have spent so much on kits, then to lose all interest in.
But I was that way with cookbooks, sewing, knickknacks before... guess it just my nature.

Journaling translated:
Today we visited Bryce Canyon, our last National Park of this trip. Yesterday we already saw the red/pink/orangey rocks, but now we would be really visiting it. We went to a view lookout points in our car, we did a few short hikes and made lots of photos!
It's special to see that after 3 weeks spending together, we really are synced up. We all wear shorts, almost 24/7, even thought that's something I would never wear in public. You can also see here that we're wearing sneakers. Shoes that I actually think look hideous, but I have to admit they fit amazing and my feet don't tire as quickly. So we had to take a photo of our feet today. We made a similar photo in Las Vegas in the Bellagio hotel, but the pinecone in this one really is the finishing touch.

If you can't read the journalling i have written about how technology enables us to explore other places and viewpoints, i use the word explore 3 or 4 times in the journalling
