Oh sorry @FarrahJobling ! I actually think you're doing an awesome job! All these comments means that you REALLY created a challenge - as it should be with MOC! :driving:giggle:wub

ABSOLUTELY!!! I'm happy to share some ideas from the chat.

DON'T overthink it! Can be as in depth as a list of goals for the year or you can take 1 goal and split it into parts. And you can totally have fun with it!

    Here are some ideas:
20 things you want to throw away this year
20 recipes for peacefulness (actual recipes and non-food recipes)
20 scrapbook LOs you'd like to finish
20 things to make life easier
    20 health related goals

OR....split it up into 4 of each....can be anything.

I might do a page just on 20 ideas to get my puppy to stop crapping in the house! I got distracted by the chat.

I don't see this in your additions. Is it alright to use photos? In your example it has photos but in your list of requirements it talks more about scrap elements-text-etc.

I think we're all that way . . . we want what we create to be shown off in our albums! For the first challenge of MOC 2018, I created a page to fit the challenge and posted it, and then went on to make the page more of what I would like to have in my own albums.

Here's the one that fit the challenge:

Here's the one that fit me:

And if you'd like to watch the process of making it, and then altering it, here's the video:

You can always switch out photos, text, word art, etc., so that it fits in your albums after you've completed the challenge and posted your layout. :) Hope this encourages you a bit! :)

Thanks for the response. It is funny I was looking at a book about doing vision boards and then I heard a lecture about vision boards and then you posted about doing a vision board. 3 in the same day. I guess I am doing a vision board.

Sharon, Me too. But I think what threw me was the beginning of the challenge :"#1. Your pages must conform to the guidelines of each challenge in order to qualify as completed." I take things too literally at times, and as a conviction don't share personal goals. SO... I pm'd Farrah and we got it all clarified and it is going to work well. I normally don't balk at a challenge, this one just hit a nerve. But the host was gracious and Im no longer looking at it literally!!!:banana

After I got going I had trouble narrowing it down to 20! Here's mine for the day and for the slow scrap chat.

This challenge is helping me organize my goals. It is a new year AND decade and I need to tackle some things! So thanks for that. Now to make it esthetically pleasing! ❤️

I hear you Amanda. When I was whining to my DH about it, I likened it to almost being "against my religion." It really does feel that way. But with the help of the suggestions on this post, I too have found a "work-around!"

Well there are benefits to being the furthest time zone... I got to read 5 pages worth of comments and insights on this challenge. My first thought was like everyone else’s... NoNo not another list... I want to Do pages to get my albums in progress finished... in fact made a promise a year or so ago to not do any pages that would not meet this goal. As I read my brain of course started spinning with how I can make this work. I now have too many ideas and ready to roll with it. That said I have not even started the tag challenge and missed the slow scrap this morning so will have to check out that thread... thanks everyone for all the inspiration!
