I used two text boxes for my journaling. The first part of my text is in the red text box and is slightly narrower than the full size text box below it, to accommodate the Drop Cap. The remainder of my text is in the second text box in blue. It's the full width across and acts like a shelf for the first text box to sit on. Then you can just type the Drop Cap on its own text layer or make a 3rd text box for it. Move it into place to sit snug against your journaling.

These are all great. I look forward to learning this new technique and love to learn so thanks for the challenge. I was babysitting two of my grandkids all day and one is sleeping at our place tonight so I think I will just have to attempt it all tomorrow and hopefully can do the newest challenge too. Two layouts in one day. Yeah. Hope I can do it

Going to be a little hard since I have trouble getting my text to line up. Have to work on this!

Ok, here we go. I don't think I've ever done the drop cap before and it definitely made me think about my first sentence.

i thought about doing this like an acrostic poem, with the drop caps letters down the side but i like pockets for my disney albums and i found these SWL cards and i ended up with this - it still spells space in a zig zag kinda way anyway
