I'm not quite sure what you mean by auto indent - do you mean you were trying to get more than one line of text to the right of the drop cap? Easy way for the block of text you are using would be to create three text boxes. Use one text box for the block cap, the second text box for the lines to the right of the drop cap and the third box for the rest of the journaling block.

There is a convoluted way of getting more specific text to shape options in PSE, see this thread https://the-lilypad.com/forum/threads/text-path.41369/ some of the replies relate to PS but read on for help on PSE.

 

Can anyone tell me how to indent a text box in Photoshop, so I can have a separate box to contain the drop cap in the upper corner?

Regular Photoshop? I'm using CC, and I plan on drawing a text box with the pen tool and leaving an indent spot. Then I'll add the letter after.

 

I had no idea what to write about, even after thinking all day. So I decided to look through my photos and I found the perfect story! Thanks for the inspiration xx

 

I loved this challenge, and hope I will remember to use this style of writing more often. Thank you
