I want to say that I have been slow in commenting because I want to make sure I finish my compliance check on all the pages first. I will hopefully get caught up soon and be back to leaving all so much love!
This was so far out of my wheelhouse and made worse by the fact that some of these layouts are AH-MAZING! This was the best I could do. Thanks for pushing me out of my comfort zone!
I used gesso paint 7, MOC8 paint stroke 4, 6 and 7 - painted them yellow (4) overlight, blue (7) and soft light and used Pin light over another duplicate picture
I used Gesso Paint #1, Gesso Paint #7 and Paintstroke #2 from the Toolbox. They may be difficult to see, but they are all there. I don't use PhotoShop so some of these challenges are a bit more difficult. This is one of them.
I was able to play around in Artisan with all this, and there's too much for me to remember! I'll try to write something up tomorrow, but the best way for most of these items is to either fill with a photo or paper, or use the effects/blend mode, which always doesn't work as well. Used: nbk-MOC8-Paper-canvas nbk-MOC8-drops-5 nbk-MOC8-gesso-paints4 nbk-MOC8-paintstroke 5nbk-MOC8-paintstroke9 nbk-MOC8-paintstroke3 nbk-MOC8-paintstroke7
gesso paints 1 paint stroke 1 paint stroke 9 Paintstroke 10 Paintstroke 5 paper canvas for background and I also clipped it to the top to give a wee bit of texture to the title I also used the dynamic brushes to change the mask so that it didn’t cut off my windmills.
This was fun. Thank you NBK for the supplies. I used the canvas paper, paint stroke 9, paint stroke 5, and gesso 9.
Here is a take 2 of my layout: Credits: Artsy by Kristin Aagard Designs MOC 2020: Painter's Toolbox by NBK Design: 1.) MOC8 paintstroke 3 with soft light blend mode 2.) MOC8 paintstroke 4 with soft light blend mode 3.) MOC8 paper canvas with linear blend mode Unfortunately, the lower-resolution image doesn't show the texture as well as in Photoshop Elements.
Awesome challenge, but a big one for me. It didn't quite turn out as good as I liked, so maybe I'll try this again later. I used 2 pieces of gesso, almost all the paint and the abstract background paper:
I used: Paper Canvas nbk_drops nbk_drops1 nbk_drops2 nbk_paintstroke1 nbk_paintstroke2 nbk_paintstroke4 I did mask off the image using the paintstroke, then added it again with brushed edges and set both layers to an overlay (linear burn) then used the brushes to fade some color so the text would so and give some added dimension. I used a splatter brush included with Photoshop to make the "candle wax" splatters. @Dalis I feel pretty confident I did this right but if not, please leave a comment in my gallery letting me know what to correct. I am not checking inbox messages.
Re submitted after update. Struggled with this one. Thank you Nicole for the Paint Brush set. Used Canvas paper on background (linear burn), the Photo (colour burn) and brackets (colour burn) Brush 5 (luminosity) and Gesso Paints 2 (linear burn) on the photo Paints 5 and 10 on the background (darker colour) Gesso 4 on background (colour burn)
I love to play with brushes! I used NBK's canvas texture on background and set photo in a mask. Then added gesso behind photo and in front and played with paintstrokes both in front and behind. Added the frame and pushed it all the way to the back. Added the canvas texture over all again and used a brush to remove grid from faces. Finally added elements and text. Such fun!
Jan 27 - Paintstroke Picture I don't know if I did this correctly, but here's my version. Gesso Paint 1 Gesso Paint 6 Brush Stroke 2 Canvas texture https://the-lilypad.com/forum/galleries/jan-27-paintstroke-picture.422500/
