What is the best way of installing fonts in PSCC? I used to install them in windows, but is there a different method that I should be using?

Your Adobe products will recognize your fonts - mac or pc. However, be selective because having thousands of fonts actually installed can really slow your program down. On a Mac you can have them IN your Font Book but not installed. I'm not sure how a similar process works on a PC. I'm sure someone else can tell you that.

I don't install fonts because I'm a member of Fonts Anon & have 1000's = SLOW START UPS! ;) So- if you're a pc- use Nexus Font! You can open that program while using CC & it'll recognize those without having to install onto your system! Coolest thing ever! On top of that- you can organize all of them too so you aren't searching forever for the perfect font! :D

Looks like you got your answer...I am like others and do not load them into my CC - they are just in my fonts folder in Windows and it pulls from there in CC! Hope you are getting a hang of the CC!!!

    Yep! What she said....LOL.

But I do keep about 10 favorites installed with the defaults so that they are available if I don't open up Nexus Font. I have over 1000 in Nexus Font, and it keeps my computer cleaned up.

oh to do something with my fonts, years ago made folders of the fonts that came with software/operating systems, added downloaded ones to that,

i would never put puter through doing a byte count nor do i ever for see me ever going thru comparing version/foundery etc to them.

I envy any order, i have 600 installed which i need to get that less
i have installed per template needing, but then remove to the folder the template is, about the only thing i done with mess so far
