i'm hoping somebody out there
can help me find the perfect fabric
to make loooooong panels for my front room
(and probably the same panels for the adjoining dining room)
i have no idea what i want.
LOL
i've added some pictures for your viewing pleasures.
i have a HUGE beautiful window that i absolutely ADORE
and i dont' want to cover it one bit. (i love the natural light in this house!)
but i need to add color to the room some how.
i think i may get a rug to go under the coffee table
but i really want to add panels to each side of the window
for visual purposes only.
the colors in my home are mostly neutral.
cream, brown, black, white
and red.
lots of red. -my couch, accents in my dining room rug and other touches here and there.
ROFL
i originally thought i'd go with red fabric, but i think
i want to bring in other colors somehow.
maybe an ice green or pale blue?
some type of yellow or mint green?
ROFL
i suck at color swatches.....
i don't know what i want.
but feel like if i saw it, then it would suddenly jump out at me.
so to all my fabric finding friends.
can you help?
here are some images of that wall
and that room
this is the main window i'm talking about
the first couple photos are right after we moved in.
i want the panels long, but not covering much of the actual window.
maybe just the two sides of the windows that jut out.
(what do you think?)
this is the adjoining dining room without the furniture
this is the same room with my table
and this is the view standing from inside my kitchin looking through the dining room and to the front window.
this is the photo wall just to the right of my front room window
(in between the window, my piano and my large wall clock.)
we've lived in the house a year now.
and although there are quite a few projects i am working on
i'm dying to get some color in these 2 front rooms.
so any help is much appreciated!

I don't have any suggestions at this moment 'cause I'm still in a sleep fog, but I'll do some searching and see if I can come up with anything...
