A few nights ago, while scrapping, I discovered the Finder search function was failing. This is a big deal because I rely on it heavily for scrapping! I've made 3 pages since then and it was very cumbersome and limiting not being able to just search for "ribbon" or "stitch" or "pumpkin" as I usually do. I tried restarting my computer to no avail. And, weirdly, it was only affecting my TLP folder; the search function worked normally in the other folders I checked.
Finally today after finishing my cookie exchange page, I googled "why one folder won't search Finder iMac" and the first result was this, which didn't seem related at first glance, but turned out to work.

My TLP folder is searchable again.
Yay! I can scrap efficiently again!
But I wish I could understand how it failed in the first place. The only thing different recently is that I upgraded from Catalina to Big Sur on Friday. Can that do weird things like this?
