I'm excited!

The hubby hates concerts and things so we haven't done anything like that since we have been married...but today I ordered tickets to Christina Perri's concert in May here in IN. I ordered the charity meet and greet tickets too so we will get to hang with her for a bit. I love her and her music so much and I am excited to finally go do something like that again!! It's been ages!!!

What was the last concert you guys went to?
 
I went to see Sugarland and Sara Bareilles earlier this year. It was wonderful except for the two drunk girls in front of us ; )

I went and saw Bon Jovi with some girls from work back in 2010. That's the last big fun I've had, and I hadn't been to a concert in ages. But it was sooooo worth it.

yay, crystal, that will be so much fun!!

I am trying to remember the last concert I went to....I went to a Sheryl Crow concert about a year ago I think, it was a good show, just loud (and I am apparently old :) and so I couldn't understand anything!)
 
last i went to was DMB...oddly enough, maroon 5 was the opening act (back before they were famous)
 
ummm Billy Joel and Elton John in like 2003...Can you tell I'm old and married? ... lol.
 
I am so jealous...I haven't been to a concert in such a long time and I used to go all the time.

My faves were probably Jack Johnson & Ben Harper at the Gorge....totally amazing!!

And Cher & Cyndi Lauper lol....it was one of Cher's "final" tours...it was the Christmas before my Mom passed away and our last concert we went to together. My best friend actually won the tickets from a Seattle radio station and gave them to us <3
 
Oooohhhhh!!!! I LOVE concerts!!! The last concert I went to was actually The Imagination Movers! lol! And I will admit that it was a tally pretty awesome and my kids loved it. Woud bring them again in a heartbeat!

The last adult concert I saw was Rob Thomas and he was so amazing! I actually have tickets to see Boyz II Men next month and it will be the second time I see them as well. I'm always checking out what's coming to our town but we don't get too much. :(
 
that's awesome!!! I seriously can't remember the last concert I've been to, hmm... I think it might have been Point Of Grace, aaaaaagggggeeesssss ago when I was college age?
 
Hmmm... it's been since before Monkey was born. Oh, I remember. It was a NKOTB (reunion) concert. Totally awesome b/c I splurged on real seats (vs. general admission) since I was in my second trimester. Is the Christina Perri show at Verizon/Deer Creek in Noblesville? That's where we saw NKOTB. I love that venue. :)

We're going to the Dave Barnes concert in downtown Indy on St. Patrick's Day, and I'm superstoked abt that. He's my favorite singer, and he's releasing his new album earlier that week.

The last concert I went to was Rascal Flatts! Hahaha. They were amazing.. but the people there... oh my god. LOL!
 
NKOTB, 2008! I don't know if I can ever go to another concert again because all concerts will pale in comparison.

I love Deer Creek! it's pretty awesome to go to! That's where I saw Backstreet Boys when I was like 12. :giggle This one is in Bloomington at a nightclub..which I haven't ever been to either (A nightclub that is hahaha!) so should be interesting!

Haven't been to a concert since Kenny Loggins came to town and it was awesome!
 
I've seen lots in concert, like DMB, Buffett, Beach Boys, Widespread Panic, Joan Osbourne, Alan Jackson (not a country person but he was playing in a concert series called The Hoard where DMB and a bunch other played that day), Lynyrd Skynyrd ... these were back in my high school days. :giggle I would LOVE to see Elton John though!

I went to see Maroon 5 and Coldplay at the same night in Rock in Rio - 10/2011 and one week before Katy Perry, Elton John and Rihanna.

:) Sounds pretty cool, Crystal! The last show I saw was Paul McCartney at Yankee Stadium. And I'm going to see Bruuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuce Springsteen in April. I'm so excited! It's going to be my fourth time and I think I'm going to take the day off so we can tailgate!

I used to go to concerts quite often, especially while in university. Funny how marriage and parenthood and moves and such really have a way of taking the wind out of those sails, huh? Let's see....last concert I went to was Casting Crowns. But that was the first one in some years, come to think of it. Before that I think my last was Ben Harper. ♥
