Our oldest daughter is serving a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Salta, Argentina. The country is on lockdown and she's a 24 hour bus ride away from the international airport in Buenos Aires so they haven't been able to get flights out yet, but we just heard from her. The church is working on getting them on buses to Buenos Aires so they can fly home this weekend. I'm doing the happy dance and used my digi skills to make and order this 72 x 36 inch banner for her arrival. I just had to share how digi blesses my life in so many ways... online friendships and the ability to whip up a banner for a loved one. I'm so happy and relieved to know she'll be home soon!
Wonderful news! It'll be great to have her back, I'm sure, and the banner is such a sweet way to welcome here back home!
One of our grandsons is in Mexico and we are waiting for him to be able to come home, also. So happy your daughter is almost on her way.
I hope your grandson gets to come home soon. It's all happening so fast. This morning it was no and then a few hours later it was yes. Thank goodness they had already started living out of their suitcases so they could leave quick.
Oh Kayla! @keepscrappin I know you are so delighted! I'm praying that everything goes smoothly and she's is back home safe and sound. @Jan Praying for your grandson's return as well!
Wonderful news Kayla @keepscrappin and SOON for you @Jan. I used to have a bumper sticker for one of our 'recent' wars that just said....Bring Them Home. That fits for all in the world trying to get to their homes now. Prayers for them all.
