If you had 12 extra hours....

I second the scanning comment! I started a traditional scrapbook of old photos for my grandma, but it's gotten so heavy that she can't really hold them or look through them.

I did a traditional scrapbook for my 2010 Disney trip (before I got into digiscrap a year later) and it took two huge books that are too heavy to carry both at the same time. I recently re-did them in digi and they take up so much less space and they're a lot easier for my grandma to handle.

 

ok well the internet would have to be down for me to focus for 8 hours and actually scrap - LOL @jk703 "squirrels"
and then, i might get some more travel pics scrapped and get closer to printing an album from 2013

 

I swear I get worse each year with the ability to focus! I get distracted by EVERYTHING when I do have time to sit down and scrap. Lol! But, if my pictures are organized and I know what I want to scrap with, that helps a ton, so if I had 12 extra hours, I'd start by organizing pictures into folders for what I want to scrap and then I'd pick out products that I want to scrap with. That's the part that by far takes me the longest. The actual scrapping part goes WAY faster once that is done.

Then I'd start on last Christmas... I haven't managed to scrap that yet. Whoops! I've done some stuff in between here and then, but yeah, I'm behind.

 

I would love to redo all my big heavy books! I agree - digital is so much easier to share with others - my digi books get looked at more!

 

I'd spend the time getting organized and find those photos I really want to scrap. I didn't get to do that this time, and I feel like I'm playing catch up!

 

Last year, I didn't print anything out.
I created, journaled for challenges and creative teams but did nothing for me and I would begin to change that.
After MOC though, you understand?

I would love more hours to work on photos I have from my mom's photo albums. I keep saying I want to scan her photos and then scrap them. Hope eventually I find time to get started on it.

 

WHAT!??!! I can't believe this! Lol! I don't scrap chronologically either, so my printing is definitely behind where I'm scrapping, but I do print everything! I have a spreadsheet where I keep track of what I want to scrap in order chronologically and I just scrap here and there and all about and then when I have about 100 pages in a row completed I will print a new book.

 

@Karen i was very good about tracking in 2015, but got out of the practice in 2016 so I need to do that in 2017 again. For 12 hours I would love to scan photos. I have so many projects that are in need of completion- I have lots of albums that are almost done- just a few pages missing or a bit of journaling... I need to complete those so I can get rid of those guilty feelings! I love scrapping but working full time really puts a dent in my crafting time!

 

hmmmm I think I will continue organizing old kits and photos, backup them too to free up drive space.

 

If I had 12 extra hours I would sleep!
