It's tough not to make this sound naughty, so all of you get your heads in a good place...cuz I gotta tell @bellbird Justine that I found my Wooly Willy! I've been getting everything out of the owner's suite so I can paint, but before moving furniture out I've been going through every. single. drawer. and/or nook and cranny in my room. And look what I found tucked away in a drawer! The very few keychains I kept from my childhood collection, including WOOLY WILLY!

@Sunberry2 was yours in that box your DH found?

I'm so happy to find this cuz I want to show my kids, and of course I'll make a LO. First I've got to photograph them on a better surface. I just found the best light, which at this time of day happens to be by that green chair lol.

Hahaha! I've seen him on the bigger versions around! I also gave them to my kids one year... though I'm not exactly sure why! :giggle

Bwahaha well I'm sure you are over the moon but it sounds from all the effort , you deserved to find something like a pot of gold or something, but clearly this has infinite sentimental value Sara & thanks for sharing it; definitely not had one of those keyrings but it gave me & laugh, though I still question the suggestive name of such things. Tag me when you scrap your fab find! So what did your kids think of him? I think that tic-tac-toe /naughts & crosses one is cool too!

Haha Love it! My oldest son gave my youngest son the bigger version for his birthday this year. I didn't even know you could still find them LOL

Hey, it feels like finding a pot of gold lol (which I guess is that whole "sentimental" thing)!

The kids haven't seen Willy yet. I'm not sure what they'll think, but I bet they'll think he's silly! It's just mindless and fun, like an etch-a-sketch. Actually, just a few weeks ago they saw an etch-a-sketch for the first time and they went nuts over it! Maybe I should buy them one.

I bought munchkin one at the thrift store. He loves it!

    Also, randomly, we recently bought:
    Simon Says
    [IMG]
    And a Bop it.
It's amazing what "old" toys still amuse kids!

ah, a Simon! @bestcee Courtney, DH's aunt gave the kids one for Christmas last year. It's a smaller model than the large, original, one. At first I wasn't sure what to think about the size, but it's nice cuz it takes up less space and they can easily pass it back-and-forth for a 2-player game. (I don't remember a multiplayer version on my childhood one. Do you? Does anyone reading this lol?)

I think they look awesome on the chair. The solid green gives it such a graphic, colorful punch!

I was looking at these and Etch-a-Sketches just yesterday - they'd be great for my kids on car trips.

OMG, Katrina, that's hilarious! We didn't own that game but a friend of mine had it so I'd play it there.

OMG, this thread is just taking me back!

Yes! We have a miniature version.

I almost bought aggravation, but I never played it as a kid so I didn't know how it is.

Haha!! I bought my (then 5 year old) one at the thrift shop. I never told her what happens when the timer ran out. So there she is casually putting the pieces in and the timer runs out. Tick.....Tick....Tick..... *waiting* POP! She fell off her chair she jumped so high. Then looked at me and said "Don't ever do that again!" I laughed so hard I almost peed myself. Looking back she laughs at it but to this day she still won't touch the game.
