Is it just me, or is it weird to drink iced coffee without a straw? I am out of straws over here and been just drinking it through the glass for about a week now, no way am I getting use to it. I just feel so out of place without them straws!! LOL
oh my gosh I thought I was the only one that felt weird about drinking iced coffee without a straw LOL
lol! I don't think I've ever tried to dink it without a staw, but thinking about it now I'm sure I would feel super weird. lol!
haha we must make em tough and rough here in Aus as we don't normally drink iced coffee with a straw ... even out of the carton ROFL although ...... at those classy joints they have Iced Coffee with a straw because they are big tall glasses and you don't want to get cream all over your face!
It depends. The local place in our town doesn't use plastic glasses, she uses the same cups for hot and iced, so when I get a drink there I can't use a straw. But, at Starbucks or whatever I use a straw. It's doable.
Yes, a straw. I make mine at home, and we had to buy an insulated mug with a straw so I could drink it. I think there is a science to it, though. With hot coffee, you sip it slowly, so the straw slows the cold coffee down. If you drink it straight from a mug or glass, it comes too fast and your body can't handle that much goodness at one time. There's a science policy about not having too much goodness as once, right?
OMG... I think that weirdness was all mine. I do not like to drink my iced coffee without a straw, it just feels WRONG. Well at least the coffee police has never stopped me.
