Oh my dear, I am so sorry. Take it easy, and when the pain eases, try to enjoy the forced inactivity by doing really relaxing stuff. Sending good Healing vibes.
I'm sorry for the bad news, Christa!! I'm praying for your recovery and please rest so the bone can heal quickly!! I've been there too, I had a broken humerus when I was young and it's no fun at all!!
I'm SO sorry, Christa. I broke my right clavicle a couple of months ago and I really had to take it easy. Sending you healing hugs.
thank you all! At least no surgery!! Follow up with ortho on 12/28 so basically just resting and when popping in to say hello will type leftie!! Thank you all for your well wishes and continued prayers! Happy Christmas, happy Chanukah and happy new year!
Oh no Christa!!! That is just awful. I remember when I broke my toe and it was so painful. I can't even imagine my humerus. Sending positive vibes for a speedy recovery
Oh no Christa, I can imagine the scrapping withdrawal will be the hardest part (I hope you are skilled in holding your coffee cup in your left hand by now at least or if will feel like the longest month!) Best wishes & no more running for a while I guess - is that there silver lining here?!)
thank you Margaret ! thanks Marijke! thanks Danica! Justine you are right but after a week of sitting around it is tiring. Excited to walk around grocery this morning although I’m can’t pick anything up. Hubby is taking me for mani pedi too although my right arm is going to b interesting. I can stretch it a bit now as bicep muscle after a week swelling is down a bit so cross fingers it will go well. My nails are so long and a mess. I do have one spot under knee if you touch sends me through roof. No break and I can walk fine but must be nerve or something so that is going to be fun with pedi! Believe it or not with pain coffee cut down to one cup and then ice water except afternoon cup of tea!! Xo Thanks Sharon!
