LOVE that MOC is here and that it is such an awesome source of inspiration! :beat

Of course- you know I design full time- but scrap for myself? Especially last year? Not so much.

Just in case you're like me and 2020 was not the year of creative mojo- I've shared 5 tricks that helped me survive (guilt free!) and bounce back here on my blog!

Great article! I agree with it all. We all lose our mojo at some point, for various reasons. Perusing galleries, chatting with others who also love the craft and taking photos can all help to inspire us to get scrapping again.

Great tips! I especially like the no guilt and hindsight. I've been a few years behind for...well, for almost as long as I've been scrapping. I'm pushing hard to get "caught up" while life has slowed down due to Covid. But I don't think I ever want to scrap things as they happen--if I can get it so I'm scrapping events 6 months after they've happened, that will be perfect. My memory keeping is better and more accurate after that time has passed, once I have the complete picture and a little more perspective.

Great blog post Renne! I will say too, that I've always strived to "be caught up" since forever. But guess what, I've been caught up a few times since being a Polly and I hate it. It's totally overrated. When I was caught up and then wanted to scrap, I didn't have anything to choose from. Just look at it like that. When you see a cool kit you want to play with, you have a bunch of memories to choose from. It's all good! :agree

Yes! I so relate to this!
I’ve already made more layouts this year than I did in 2020. Plus I’ve started working with the Project Life app to create pocket pages for my P12 album. Going monthly made such a huge difference for me. So weird.
Anyway. Thanks for the blog post.

I'll never catch up, but that's okay ... I scrap what appeals to me and IMO any pages done is better than no pages done. :)

Anne! It took me awhile to figure it out- but I did! I updated my comments plug in and the site is ready for chit chat :righton

YES! This right here! I agree!! Sometimes "in the moment" journaling is a little to raw- if i do have feeling like that- I like to tuck them in a hidden pocket-

LOVE it!! Ready to "take off" into 2021! :beat

    :luvya

That's really interesting Karen! I never thought of it like that! :hi5

I love the years that I was able to keep up with every month! Just like I love when I can actually complete December Daily- it doesn't always happen- but man! It's so cool when it does! Good for you! :hi5

Yes! "Done is Better than Perfect! I always have to remind myself of that one!
