how do i fill in this with color ? its a word cutout by Liz

    There are several different ways. If I were doing it, I would probably use the magic wand tool and click inside each letter (holding down shift to add to the selection) and then create a color fill layer.

    thank you thank you ...duh yes of course that is how to do it . my brain wasnt working this morning. thanks for your quick reply so i can finish my layout. can i attach paper that way? or cut fill with color

    Once you have created the color fill layer, you could clip a paper to that layer if you wanted to. Is that what you are asking?

    I do fill with color and place a checkmark in the preserve transparancy box ...

    If you want to fill the center with paper like Kim suggested just make sure it's on it's own layer below the outline layer. :agree

    I just remembered that there are also instructions for how to fill the openings of a cut file with patterned paper in one of this year's MOC Challenges. :)
