I love MOC and the month of designers and the recent Christmas in July. How about a series of challenges to use old photos? Between Christmas in July and #CAMPWHATAJOY2019, I've dug out lots of old pictures and I would love the challenge to scrap more of them. Just an idea....thanks for listening.

I'd like that, too. I don't have as many as some of you, but it would force me to scan the ones I have. I also have 100's of slides that I keep saying I'm going to get converted. I'd like to think that this would help nudge me on those.

That's a fun idea! I love how we are just spoiled by the wonderful Pollys here at TLP. They give us so many awesome challenges and events throughout the year! :love Maybe one of them will be inspired for their monthly challenge. To get your creativity going in the meantime, here are some cool "family ancestry/heritage" kits to check out. Maybe they'll inspire you to scrap your photos!

And one I've used myself for "old" family photos:[IMG]
The store has loads more family heritage kits, but maybe you'll want to use themed kits that match your photos (i.e. Christmas kits, birthday kits, etc).

I always love to use a challenge as an excuse to dig in my pre-digital camera days photos! I'll tuck this in the suggestion box and see what we can do! Great idea Linda! :)

How old? I only have a small number of photos dating before 2000 and have scrapped a lot those already.

Such an awesome idea! I too have lots of photos before digi.

I have a ton I need to dig out and scan ... but I also love the fact that we can just snap a pic with our phones these days and get them on the digi page as easy as 1,2 3 - since our mobile devices have such good cameras these days.

Great kit suggestions @Tree City and I'm with @Karen ... hopefully we can work this into an upcoming event soon.

I enjoy using my older photos and did plan to get busy this year creating pages about my childhood to have printed into an album but so far I have not carried out my plans.

What a treasure trove, AJK: wow!

Tree City, thanks for the great kit suggestions.

I love doing family history pages, and would be totally here for an old photo challenge.

This is such a great idea!! I still have so much of my older kids' lives to catch up on. I intended to do a lot of scanning or taking photos this summer and just let the time get away from me.

The catalyst of a series of challenges would help get me into action on digging out and scanning some of my pre-digital photos. I'd love more than one challenge on this -- maybe a monthly feature??? or a 10-days challenge?

Amanda, Don't forget that your ancestors loved color as well. Some of my fav vintage layouts are those where my ancestors are in "settings" that would not be considered heritage. :-)
