I have missed her around here - please let her know I am thinking of her and sending hugs and prayers- I'm sure she will be so glad to see you- thank you for the update!
So glad you will be able to visit. That will be good for both of you. I love Cynthia as well. She is one of the very 1st people to believe in me as a scrapper and her encouragement is still treasured. Send her my get well wishes and my prayers are with her as she recovers.
Continuing to pray for her and for the doctors to have wisdom and get this figured out! So glad someone is able to go see her and give her some encouragement!
Give her 2 big cheek kisses as we do here in France for me!! I hope she gets better soon!! Oh and tell her she HAS TO get better cause I wanna go visit in the summer!
Oh this makes me feel somewhat more better knowing someone from here can visit her too!!! Thank you so very much for doing this and please give her a huge hug from me, I miss her dearly around here too
Thank you so much everyone! She will definitely feel the love from all of you here at the pad! I have lots of hugs, and 2 cheek kisses to give her! I will deliver them all and more! Just getting the little man ready for school then I'll head to the hospital! Hugs and love back at you all xx Cynthia is a wonderful person and I'm so honoured to call her my friend and be able to pass on of your good wishes! It means a lot to me and I know it will mean so much to her too! Xxx
Hi Everyone! Even though the circumstances were not what we would wish for, I had a wonderful visit with Cynthia and her daughter Sarita! We hugged a lot, and I passed on everyone else's hugs and kisses between my own LOL We caught up and had a good natter, we even managed a few giggles and it was lovely to see her smile! I told her that everyone was routing for her, keeping her in their thoughts and prayers, send their love etc. and she is very grateful for all of your good wishes! Cynthia is doing better, she isn't recovered or well, but is feeling a bit better now that she is again receiving antibiotics via IV (which is very uncomfortable and today even painful!) Her fever has subsided, but they are keeping her in at least a few days at the minimum. Sarita is a star! she was their with me today and will be going back this evening too xx Cynthia's gall bladder is inflamed and although not as painful now, still needs to be operated on as she has gall stones that are BIG! On one hand that's good as they will hopefully not enter the bile duct but obviously the bigger they are the more pain that comes with them! Due to the inflammation, they are holding off the operation for when the inflammation subsides. So this may be a longer road for her than anyone would have hoped. BUT that doesn't stop her being in high spirits, sure she has been upset and sometimes angry, but she is still her crazy (the good kind) self! xx We were even discussing how we could get her Mac to the hospital, if she was to stay in any longer than a week, so she could at least scrap LOL! She has her tablet with her for Facebook and a way to Skype with Sarita, but you can't scrap on a tablet! We managed a walk to the hospital café, enjoyed a herbal tea and some light lunch. I really think the visit perked her up! Not to mention I took her a little gift from Tim, Ty and myself, along with a card. I also took her a card and gift on behalf of all her friends here! I wanted her to know how much love is being sent her way and how much support her friends are all giving, from all around the world! Here are a few photos of the card and gift I bought on behalf of all her friends here at The Lilypad, not forgetting Bart too LOL xx Here is the gift, An Angel of Friendship xx Sorry for the long post, Me and Cynthia have this in common, we are both "Typative" its like "Talkative" but with less noise! LOL xx
Just seen Cynthia has updated her Facebook with a photo of her cards and gifts She says: Thanks with all my heart , tears n all to all @The Lilypad for the well wishes, card n present, you are a little bit closer now by my bed ,will post an update soon huggzzz
Awwww...I'm so glad she has you to boost her spirits. I am praying as hard as I can that they get her healthy and home.
Vicky thank you ever so much for seeing Cynthia, for conveying our thoughts and well wishes, for posting the update, for bringing her the get well card and gift on behalf of us all and for perking Cynthia up. You did what many of us are unable to do, and I for one am very thankful to you for doing this for her and all of us. Big hugs.. You are an angel and a very good friend... Big Hugs across the water to you! Hugs.. Christa
