OMG. My husband forgot to sign a check for me to deposit into our checking account, and now I'm on hold with the Power & Water company to see if they'll let us pay the bill one day late. Cuz, you know, it was due TODAY. :hairpol

AND I have to leave right now to pick up my kids.

Phew, someone answered and they'll let me pay the bill tomorrow. :yesss

I so hate when this happens. (Fortunately, it doesn't happen often.)

Phew! glad you got it sorted!

I really dislike "holding" I will even try to press any button I can on automated lines to get to speak with someone quicker, I must annoy the hell out of call centre staff who have to transfer me! I should know better I used to work in a call centre LOL

Oh Julie, I hope they let you and didn't make any big deals or made you pay extra.

LOL! I always sign my hubby's name on stuff like that and he's cool with it. The bank may not even recognize his signature.

LOL Shannon. I don't get checks often these days, but DH is usually the one who endorses mine, so we'd probably be in the same situation for me. Of course, my signature has eroded so much over the last 20+ years, that anyone comparing my actual signature to one from when I first opened the account would probably think it was fake anyway! :giggle

Glad they were able to work with you, Julie! :thumbsups
