i went on a field trip with jennas prek today. to see mariachi christmas it was pretty awesome and she loved it. on the way home she said her forehead hurt and she had an itch in the back of her throat. she threw up 30 seconds from the house. all over herself, her carseat, and part of the car. i nearly lost it cleaning it up. my inlaws are coming in to town tomorrow for an entire week. i have TONS to do. and now i'm stuck at home with a sick babe. and need to make a million errands and clean before my inlaws get here! (Can't complain to the husband or else he thinks i'm making excuses about the inlaws coming to town!) ROFL not really the case. just wish there were 2 of me sometimes.. LOL thanks for listening!
aww poor jenna i hope she gets better soon and i can so relate to the inlaw part i have to tread carefully too in that department, stuff the cleaning and get jenna better they can take ya house as it comes cleaning isnt your prioritys
I'm so sorry to hear that. Bad timing for a sick child. Wish I could help you out a bit ... I think I was always sick during Christmas vacation - my poor parents. Unfortunately, I've also passed this Christmas sick gene down to my children. One Christmas we spent in the emergency room with my eldest, the next Christmas he got Chicken Pox (even though he was vaccinated). This last Christmas my youngest came down with some terrible virus Christmas day and spent the whole day in bed ... I've got my fingers crossed for this Christmas although public health just sent us notices saying that my eldest has been in contact with both H1N1 and Strep throat last week.
What horrible timing! I wish I could come over and help you out a bit. My super quick method of cleaning/decluttering is to throw everything that isn't pretty into a bag and then hide it in the garage. Hopefully your hubby can run the errands and you can focus on the house. Good luck!
oh bummer! I hope she gets to feeling better soon! I do really like Carolee's quick fix clean up! I may have to give that a go myself!
oh yuck! I hope she starts to feel better soon and I hope you find a way to get it all done. If not, just prioritize and do the best you can!
Aww what a day sweetie!! I hope that she is feeling better soon soon and you are able get at least the essentials done for your incoming company. I say do only what you have to and do the best you can! Sending ((hugs)) and healthy bugs your way!!
Oh NO!!! I think I would have almost lost it too. That's so not fun to clean up, specially out of a small space. Yuck! I am a "hider" too. Hugs!
Awwwe! Poor little pumpkey! It's no fun being sick. And no fun for a harried mom. I hope she feels better soon. And I so relate to your troubles. I'm totally running around like a chicken with no head trying to get ready for in-laws! Hopefully you will get to enjoy the Christmas season soon.
oh no, poor baby. i hope she is all better very soon and that you are able to get what you need to do done!! (((hugs)))
i'm sorry to hear you have a sick one, jacque. i pray that she's better tomorrow. deep breaths, an adult beverage, and hiding stuff in big closets and under our bed have always worked for me.

So sorry, Jacque! Hope she feels better soon. For now, you should enlist your visitors to help you out. I'm sure they'll understand...
