Have you ever looked at your entire selection of invoices in your store account? It tells you how much you have spent over your entire time here. Well mine goes back to 2011 and omg, ya'll. My husband can never ever ever find out.

It's worth a look.

Am I the only one who spends a small fortune on scrapbooking supplies?

:no2 I do not think I should have done that but I went and had a look.
I noticed I bought two things in 2011 and then must have disappeared until 2016.
I am definitely never ever going to look at that total again !!!!

When I looked at my total several months ago, I wondered if it's showing full prices and not taking into account sale prices and coupon use.

I am cheap...I mean cheap...so I justify.
I remember paying $20 to get film developed, and half the photos were horrible!
I never paper scrapped, just put photos in albums. But, the price was horrible. I love this hobby, love it! It makes me smile, I have great friends and the price for this is well.

I always tell my hubby that digi scrappin is cheaper than therapy. And Anne is right, digi is WAY cheaper than paper scrappin. I always spent a small fortune on paper layouts, but with digi I can reuse a kit all I want.

But I am curious to see how much I've spent at TLP.

I don't regret a single purchase. But I had NO idea I could see the tally'd up number. This would be bad on Vudu too. I've taken to buying favorite movies on digital when on sale. But I tend to buy one or two and then maybe the next day another one which gives me the impression I am not spending as much. This is the general way I approach all my shopping. And gals, when your husband is gone for more than half the year AND making extra money, shopping is your escape. I am SO glad there is not a total out there lurking with a total amount of money I've spent in the last 6 months. I mean, ya'll for real. Take my debit card away. lol. And he does NOT know all of it. lol. Nor will he ever know the amount that I saw on here either. lol. And I should say, I am usually super cheap. lol.

I have, and it is scary. Today I just looked at December 2017 , and I was shocked that I spent that much. Thanks to the Document Your December and Christmas sales...

And remember, I am pretty sure that the grand totals are per page, so if you have more than one page of invoices out there, you'll have to add up the totals for each page.

Oh no, I only looked at one page! lol
I did do a lot of damage in the past two months alone!

I'm pretty sure the color just drained from my face b/c hubby just asked me what's wrong...in just less than a year I've spent almost $2,200.00 ($2,193.83). If my hubby ever went back and looked in the bank records I'm pretty sure I'd have my debit card deactivated!

But I have no regrets!

So, I looked up a specific year, and could see gross and paid. That made me feel awesome! Look how much I saved!
:agree:giggle

Besides, looking at the video game collection in front of me, and the consoles? I'm good. I don't feel bad one bit.

Yep it can be a daunting figure but i think back to paper scrapping days and well, it's really not as much as it wouolda been if i'd continued - and hey, it's an investment in my sanity and as my brain deteriorates, i will appreciate the $ and time i spent on digital memory keeping ;)
