So how is everyone? Any big plans for today, or the weekend?

I am working today and still trying to get motivated this morning. The internet just seems to be so much more fun than reviewing tax returns. :think After that it is allergy shots and then a playdate or a work out. Not sure which yet....

Tomorrow I am having my wisdom teeth taken out. I have been putting this off forever but I figure since we are moving, I better get it done. I am really hoping it won't be too bad. I am not one to sit around on the couch for days. Just can't do it. Plus Saturday is date night with the hubby and I think we are going to see Sherlock Holmes, have some dinner and some :wine.

:wave everyone! Happy Thursday! I am SO ready for the weekend!

Work kicked my butt yesterday, and I'm thinking it will do the same today. No major plans this weekend that I know of, which is just how I like it! I'm going to try to get all my errands done Saturday so we can make Sunday a slug it day!

Good luck with the wisdom teeth Lisa - I hate to say it but I doubt you'll be ready for date night Saturday. Esp. if you have all four out. I had one out and I'm not a major wimp, but I was definitely in pain through the weekend. The worst part was the anti-biotics though - they gave me horrible heartburn! and I was freaked out about dry socket, so I babied myself. Hope everything goes well!

I have Bible study this morning at church and then work stuff this afternoon. Nothing too exciting planned for the weekend that I know of. DH is studying (med schoool, so always studying!) and hopefully I can get the house clean, keep the boys under control and scrap!
 
oohhh... eek... wisdom teeth! I think I'm going to have mine extracted too.. totally putting it off though...

As for me, I'm going to a concert tonight! Boyz II Men! Can you believe it???? hehehehe... I used to listen to them ALL.THE.TIME. and now they are playing in our little city. I bought the tickets about 5 months ago and am going with my best friend and anothr of our friends. Should be fun!

For the weekend, I actually have to work... boooooo!!!! I hate working weekends since this is the only time Adrien is off and we can actually spend time as a family. Having to get to work for a 2pm start kind of ruins the day...

Lisa - I hope your wisdom teeth extraction goes smoothly and that you can enjoy date night. I don't think mine were too bad at all (at least that I remember, but that was 10 years ago now).

Everyone else - enjoy your weekends - mine starts tonight! I love having Fridays off!

Today I am working and then tonight teaching a digital scrapbooking class. Tomorrow my girls have off of school, which I am totally excited for because then I don't have to get out and about anywhere, and we are having some family over tonight to celebrate my daughter's birthday! Should be a good weekend!
 
Lisa, best of luck with the wisdom teeth! I had mine out about ten years ago, too, I remember the first night being bad but otherwise it was okay. Hope you can make your date night.

I have a lunch date with some old friends today that I'm hoping will still be a go. We had a lot of freezing rain last night and the roads are covered with a sheet of ice. The bus driver went sliding as she turned in front of our house this morning and she hit our mailbox and garbage can by the road. At least she didn't hit my kid!
 
hi my thursday has consisted of playing lego indiana on the ps3 im so addicted to that game but ive tore my self off it now,later im at work and then i have tomorrow off and back in saturday,sunday i have 2 football matches to do with the kids at differant venues as si is working i got the job of 2 so im hoping they will be called off

I hope ya wisdom teeth dont cause ya to much havoc i had mine out many years ago and it never caused me problems i was up and about in less time than they stated so hopefully you may be the same and you can have your date
 
well my Thursday consisted of lots of cleaning and not much else. A little jumping on the trampoline too (very little) and headed to the shops for nappies!
Tomorrow morning we have a school friend and mum coming to visit so that should be good. OMG and I forgot to buy something for morning tea! oops!
Now I'm doing some QC for a designer and then to bed :)
 
well i'm back from vacay. i need to embrace reality but i've just been in a blue funk. it's grey and cloudy here and everything is brown. *sigh* i have bills to pay, laundry to do blah blah blah.

i'm sure you think i shouldn't whine....i just need to adjust.
 
This is my day today:

1. taking Izabella to the doctors for her 2nd year appt, also they need to look at her eyes, they have a rash.
2. getting waxed (wouldn't you like to know the places)
3. taking the kids to an indoor playground
4. coming home and making supper
5. watching vampire dairies
6. watching greys
7. flucking around as usual

I forgot Vampire Diaries was on tonight. We just caught up on all of last season last weekend. I don't think DH is home tonight though so it will have to wait a few days. :cry

Totally understandable!! I think you should turn on all the lights, pick out some bright colored towels for the bathroom, burn some tropical smelling tarts/candles, turn the heat up and pretend you are back on the island! LOL!!
 
Oh that's a wonderful idea for all of us Amy! Lisa good luck on the wisdom teeth. I hope that doesn't ruin your weekend.

Tonight is super run kids around night. I have no idea when we are going to eat dinner. Tomorrow is clean (oh yay, lol) and Sat. is a wrestling tournament for my son. Sun. is hopefully skiing. But we'll see. I might have to stay home with the baby.

Good luck, Lisa. That is not something I would be looking forward to (I had mine out when I was 19. There's a story...or maybe even a layout there ;) )

I just finished moving my office two doors down from where I used to sit. Don't ask. It's for a totally stupid reason :rollingpin Some people are soooo petty.

Anyway, I have to work at another building the rest of the day today, then only a partial day tomorrow. We have a swim meet all weekend. DS#1 is swimming Friday evening (200 IM). Then both boys are swimming both Saturday and Sunday. Since our swim club is hosting the meet, DH and I have volunteer duties...OK DH has volunteer duties :eg9 He's doing the announcing on Saturday and Sunday. After that, I'll need several drinks, a couple of those tropical tarts Amy mentioned and a nice hot bath to unwind.
 
good idea amy. i did go to the tanning bed yesterday. not that i needed it - i just wanted to feel warm and sun kissed again.

not much going on here! The hubby is working nights this week and he picked up an overtime day so we won't really see him til Sunday evening. Boo! I have been just hanging out trying to avoid looking outside so I won't get depressed. I seriously have not seen sunshine in a few weeks and it's starting to drain me terribly!

we have our very first Daisy Meeting tonight! I think I am more excited than Moo is! We were so late in starting to sell cookies I almost bowed out of sales, but hey she sold 54 boxes in less than a week!

I am taking a half a day off tomorrow. Grocery shopping and a little "me shopping time" before I have to pick up the kid from school!

Saturday I am driving the 50 miles to get my hair cut. It seems outrageous, I know, but I have been going to the same gal for 10 years and I seriously don't want to look for anyone closer!

Sunday... dunno yet... maybe NOTHING!
