I didn't answer this the day it was posted because I found it perplexing. I don't think I buy anything more than everything else. I mean there are individual comparisons. Like, I buy spinach every other week but brussels sprouts only a few times a year. But I don't buy spinach more than everything else. I buy bread every week, but I also buy Clementine oranges every week, and milk, and eggs, and bell peppers and mushrooms, and my favorite snack bars.
Cheese. I love cheese. It’s a great snack and with my crazy work hours it’s good to eat when I come home late from work and don’t want to cook. My grocery store sells sampler sizes and I often pick up new and different to me ones to try. My recent faves have been an apricot Stilton and Rattlesnake cheddar that was flavored with habenaros
Cereal and milk was definitely on the top of the list for YEARS, but my oldest who just went to college this fall was the main culprit of eating so much cereal and drinking milk on top of that. Now it's probably ice cream or diet coke.
Cottage cheese, yogurt, milk, bread and eggs. Bananas, cereal cookies, ice cream, cupcakes (like Little Debbies) - (for hubby)
Frozen pizzas and chicken nuggets, and snacks ... lots of snacks for Chase. I buy bread and milk, but half or more of it gets tossed weekly. For me, I usually go to Harris Teeter's to get a salad from their salad bar daily M-F. And I stock up on Pepsi whenever they are on sale. Bought 8 cases in the last week ... 4 for the office and 4 for home.
