Well after a lot of waiting cause on Friday the person I needed to speak to wasn’t there and on Monday and what seemed like half of Tuesday they were permanently on the phone they finally returned my message that I left for them. I finally have a date for my sleep study - May 7th.
Forgot to update you all, last Tuesday I had the sleep study at home and at the same time got a letter from a private sleep and respiratory institute saying i’d been referred to them by the hospital (no one told me but ok), rang to make the appointment, managed to pick up a cancellation appointment for last Thursday. Long story short, yes my sleep is the problem or more specifically the quality of it. I have been diagnosed with sleep apnoea and will undergo another sleep study in 3 weeks where I will spend part of the night as normal and part with a CPAP machine on. After that I’ll get given a machine to use and see the sleep technician & specialist two weeks and a month after that. Bottom line is restful and rejuvenating sleep is only 3 weeks away!
I have a good friend with sleep apnea and he LOVES the CPAP machine! He said the difference was night and day... SO much more rest at night. I'm glad they are getting this figured out for you!
I am so glad this is happening for you, and can't wait to see how much you accomplish with good sleep! You are such an amazing woman, continually searching for employment and maintaining a good attitude. I just know with sleep you are gonna be a rock star!
Thanks, I hope this will change things too. Will definitely be a nice change to have quality sleep after 4 months of not having it.
When we got our adjustable bed last year, it really changed my sleep quality and quantity. I was able to stay in bed much longer without becoming uncomfortable from pain and I sleep much deeper than before when I was waking several times a night. That's why I really think it will make a huge difference for you - as getting better sleep has really helped me!
Exactly, just knowing what’s wrong makes the 3 week wait til my next test more bearable that’s for sure
