I can get my hubby to play a couple of card games for a little bit, but he would rather play the switch with our teenage DD than suffer through games with me. It's just not his thing, but I'm glad he will humor me and play a little here and there to keep me happy... you know the saying, "happy wife, happy life".
Parcheesi, Yahtzee, Scrabble, Boggle (we still play that with Bailey), Monopoly, Upwords. We also played a lot of backgammon and cribbage. We played a lot of card games - uno, crazy eights, rummy, hearts, blackball, contact rummy. Nowadays we never play games except for a few with Bailey.
As a child we played Aggrevation, but on home-made boards for 4 players). Lately we are loving Throw Throw Burrito and Bears vs Babies.
We got throw throw burrito for the married kids, but didn't have a chance to play it before they went home. I'll have to have them bring it when they visit so I can play it.
