Two years ago, we were on a vacation and used to go to the hotel pool every afternoon for a couple of hours. That song was played daily at least twice while we were there. When I listen to it now, it reminds me of our vacation there!
 
I'm not a huge Kid Rock fan... but this song sticks:

My Aunt listened to Kokomo by the beach boys quite a bit, so I remember hearing that song a lot as a young teen. I can't remember if it was summer tho since it was Florida and always hot. :giggle Kokomo does make me always think of hot Florida summers tho.
 
Under the Boardwalk reminds me so much of wandering the boardwalk in Ocean City

One of my favourite summer songs is You're My Favorite Waste of Time by Owen Paul. It was a big hit when I was in my last year of primary school. The lesson on Friday afternoon was always a creative lesson and by the end of the school year the teacher would let us bring a radio to class. After school a lot of us would go to the local swimming pool. Once summer was over we would all go to different secundary schools, so it was very special to end our school time together in such a fun way.
 
There are so many songs that I could have chosen for this game...There are just so many...but I went with the song that reminds me of summer the most and is a classic song that I still listen to today...George Michael is my musical icon and his music is the soundtrack of my life...All of his music is on daily constant replay with me...This one is certainly a classic that a lot of people will remember...

I lived in Colorado for many years. This one reminds me of the mountains and the bright blue skies.

 
It was the summer of 1993 and I met a cute boy who I spent a lot of the summer with. He is now my husband since 25 years and I still think of the song Mr Vain by Culture Beat as our song since it was played on the radio all the time that summer.
 
Our on repeat songs this summer, so I'll likely remember forever, are from K-Pop Demon Hunters, lol.

 
So many great oldies posted here! I loved belting out "When Doves Cry", "Wicked Game" to name a few. The girls and I would have the windows down, singing our hearts out and then would laugh and feel embarrassed when we stopped at a red light and realized that other cars could hear us LOL.

This summer I am loving "Pink Pony Club" which was the opening song for our hockey team this year. I love that our province celebrates diversity. I sing it constantly when driving and it's my daughter's fave song this summer too.

This song always leads me to my summer childhood memories
my mom used to play a LP of Santo & Johnny Farina during the summer days. I remember that we used to eat so much veggies and salads, and my sister and I added mayo to everything, lol. funny times.
