Gallery "Media Viewed"

Is there a way to turn off the number next to the "Gallery" tab at the top of the page? I know this is "Media Viewed," but honestly, it drives me crazy with that number up there, LOL! I keep thinking it's notifications.

Not sure, but for now, Click on the number and click on “mark media viewed” and it will zero out the number
