I just pinned one of my layouts from the gallery onto Pinterest, and after I had done so I got a "Congratulations for making your first pin this week - keep it up!" message from Pinterest, complete with confetti falling down. It made me laugh, but it's won't encourage me to make any more or less pins than normal. Makes me wonder why they're doing it.

Has anyone else seen this? I'm just curious, that's ll.

I stopped using Pinterest when I started seeing more ads in my "feed" than pins from people I follow. I hate forced advertising from all of the SM sites just like I hate solicitors knocking on my door.

I saw that too- I use pinterest all the time so it's not really going to affect my pinning... lol!

Yeah, I did see that recently and it made me chuckle too. :giggle In fact, I read it wrong at first and thought it said "Congrats on your first pin" Like my first pin ever and I had a small heart attack that all my other pins were lost somehow. {gasp} Lol!

Lol! I backed out thinking it was a spam message like those ones that say you won an Apple IPOD. :giggle

Seriously! It’s not like I’ve pinned twenty gadzilion pins already, right?
Oh, that would’ve made me panic, too! Not that it would be the end of the world, but still.
    Ha!
