I'm here! Give me just a second I'm having computer issues and it's taking an extra minute to open the room!
How did it go? I could have made it. I even remembered on the way home from my daughter's band practice an hour before Pictionary start time. But when we got home, my other daughter suggested a family game and I had forgotten about Pictionary. So I was immersed in another hilarious game of Cards Against Humanity when I suddenly remembered. It was a weird feeling, being disappointed I'd missed playing a game with online friends because I was playing a game with my family. And it sounds kind of silly, but I was a little torn. I play games with my family just about every week, but not so often with my TLP friends. Pictionary was already more than half over anyway. I stayed with my family.
There were only like 5 of us there (maybe 6) plus Courtney. And several were on phones, so only a few could draw. We stayed a little over half an hour and played- no teams, just having fun. It was fun, but I wish a few more people had came.
Oh! It sounds like it might have been over by the time I remembered. I'm so ambivalently sorry I missed it! If I'd remembered at the time my daughter suggested a game, I could have said I have previous plans and only felt slightly silly to be playing a game with friends on my computer while my family played a game across the room at the table. LOL But that would have been better than leaving them in the middle of our game.
My daughter hung out and guessed with me and even drew one time. It being so small, I didn’t mind her participating. She keeps asking when we are doing it again lol
Omg...gremlins are loose lol I typed a whole response, it posted twice..tried to delete one and both disappeared haha She's fine. I asked if she was hurt and she said "just my heart" lol. She's never had to deal with insurance before, so I made the call for her. At least she can still drive her car. I hit a deer a few years ago on the interstate and had to be towed. She was waiting for me to fuss at her, but I told her stuff happens. She's almost 23 and this is the first incident she's had, so I'd say she's doing ok. Thanks for asking!!
Me too! I didn't mind her participating at all She did a good job! We missed you @michelepixels , but I'm glad you had some family fun time!
